JACOBEAN UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE
(Also known as La Compostela Universitaria)

Once you have completed the Camino de Santiago (The Way of Saint James) for whichever route and you would like to obtain a Jacobean University Certificate (JUC)—you may apply for one through e-mail, postal mail, or you may drop off personally your Pilgrim University Record at the Universidad de Navarra. The information can be original or a photocopy. The place to deliver the information is in the central building in the Office of Alumni (edificio Central, campus universitario, 31080 Pamplona, Spain). Furthermore, the Pilgrim University Record needs the following stamps to be accepted:

- The different stamps from the universities along the chosen route.

- The different stamps, two or more per day, from the intermediate places visited during that stage.

- A stamp from your affiliated university. If you are unable to obtain this stamp, you may present a document of affiliation (i.e. student, professor, or alumni card; a diploma; official academic transcript; etc.)

- The stamp from the Pilgrim Office of Santiago de Compostela. Once the Alumni Office of the Universidad de Navarra has received the required documentation, the certificate will be sent to your home free of charge.
